We are extremely pleased to announce the release of Philips SpeechExec Enterprise 7.0
This new version will take the speech recognition workflow in enterprise environments to the next level. SpeechExec Enterprise 7.0 supports state-of-the-art speech recognition technology by using Nuance SpeechKit, which allows you to outsource the speech recognition process to a dedicated server (either on-premise within the company or provided as a cloud service). That will free up resources of the endpoint hardware. Our integration of SpeechKit comes with a big advantage: while Nuance solutions like Dragon Professional Anywhere only provide the recognized text, SpeechExec Enterprise makes the respective audio file available as well.
Our SpeechKit integration in SpeechExec Enterprise supports various types of workflow:
- Frontend Speech Recognition: the authors can use their SpeechMike microphone for real-time speech recognition that turns voice into text immediately.
- Backend Speech Recognition: previously recorded dictations (with mobile dictation devices like the PocketMemo or SpeechAir) can be sent by the author to SpeechExec Enterprise speech recognition.
